Sorry, but that is of no help. Seriously, if that was the answer then why isn't there a google search box on the site? And that is of no help and the results are just as borked as the Anandtech search feature. For example, why would I want a post from 2003 before something the last 7 days.

You didn't specify that you wanted to use the AT search. You didn't specify that you wanted results from the last 7 days. You didn't specify which forum you wanted the info from.
My search returned results while yours didn't.

But site search should not be a function of a browser. Google search is not built into the browser, it's a convenient link to google.

All I wanted to do was search for 5.25. It's a common bay size. As far as I know a period/decimal is not a special character.

So what search term would I put into google to perform a search and have my results in order of most recent post? I don't believe it is possible since google page results take into account the amount turnaround time when getting results.

The results for any search I do on the VB support forum come back as date of last post by default. No cryptic %1$s message result for a search temr for which no value exists.
