How do I save an *.asf file on a VCD?

I am trying to save a video clip that is an asf file as a VCD. Nero gives me an error when I try. What should I do?

You need to convert that ASF file to MPEG if you're trying to burn a VideoCD. Try this link for a good ASFtoMPEG tutorial and lots of other information. Here is the link.
