how do I save a streaming video file?

Ok, there's this site that has a music video that I really like, but it streams it...I think it's mpeg4 format, so I play it through WMP. Is there anyway to save this to my HDD so I can watch it offline?

I was looking for the same answer for 3 weeks !!! ... and finally I found what I need... use ASFRecorder ... I forgot URL, search for it on google ; )

are there any other programs that can save streaming mpeg or avi files? it seems as though ASF recorder can only save streaming ASF files. thanks for the help.

Since even streaming videos must get into your cache, you can try looking for a file of the right size in your internet temp files or cache after playing the video and renaming it to the proper extension. It won't always work, but it often will.
