I would like to buy a CPU that I found for sale. It is not on eBay, so I don't know if PayPal will offer buyer protections. How can I safely buy an item from an individual that I do not know?

Nothing FS, this doesn't belong in FS/FT - moving to OT

you have to take a chance sometimes. check out there heat and make sure they are a trusted seller here. Paypal has buyer protection to some extent and google check out i herd is pretty good. but in all truthfulness its kinda a gamble but there it ALOT of good traders here that make sure they do proper clean transactions and the buyer is happy!

My heat is under brandonwh64

Sometimes saving a couple of bucks is not worth the risk or stress involved.

Have you searched this forum for what your looking for yet?

What cpu are you looking at and how much was it shipped?

Maybe you could just do a WTB cpu X for X amount of dollars and maybe somebody can help you out.

Hmm....Not even sure this belongs in the forsale/trade forum
