How do I run my video game consoles through my LCD?

Topic pretty much explains it. Do I need some kind of special cables or something? Right now I am just using my TV with the basic RCA cables.

First of all wrong forum.

I don't think it has anything to do with your PCR150 TV tuner (did you buy it for $49.99 AR?).

What model LCD do you own and what inputs does it have?

What kind of LCD do you have? My Dell has an Svideo port right on it, you just have to use that then plug your console's audio-out into your speakers (might need an adapter).

Barring a port right on the LCD, just plug your video out on your console into the video in port on your WinTV and connect the speakers as above (or into your sound cards line-in port)

I'll take pity on the wrong forum n00b.

Just plug the cables in and go.

At least on my PVR-150 one quirk is that you have to actually record a second or two before it will show any picture in the TV app. You can stop the junk recording after that and game away.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 712N. It doesn't have any inputs that I can see so I guess I would have to plug the yellow RCA cable into the PVR. I don't get how I hook up the sound though. What is a console's audio-out? Are you just referring to the red and white RCA cables? And No, I bought it a good while ago, before there were any "hot deals"...oh well.

Red and White are audio L and R ... you do have a problem since the Hoppity has a single stereo miniplug like for headphones.

You probably want to head off to Radio Shack and get a stereo miniplug to 2 RCA _female_ connector (male is more common). If they only have mini to male then you need to get a couple of F/F RCA adapters to mate the 2 male plugs. Kinky!
