How do i run a benchmark in Quake 3 Arena?

What do i need to download? I dont play alot of quake 3 so thats why im asking. not trying to be lame

Working from memory, I think you bring down the console using the "tab" key, then type in "timedemo 1" hit enter,"tab" again to get rid of the console,play the demo, then hit "tab" again to see your fps.

Yes there is I forgot the name but yes there is one.

After you do the /timedemo 1 and hit enter, you can type /demo four and it will run one automatically.
