How do I roll back my firmware version?

I upgraded to v1.33 on my Pioneer a05, and I think it is causing bad burns (see other post). How can I flash and reinstall the previous version? I have hear that it is risky, and I have heard it can't be done. But I find that hard to believe. There has to be some way. Anybody?
