how do i resize an animated .gif?

i already tried with irfanview, but i only seem to be able to resize a single frame and can't figure out how to resize the whole thing.
any advice?

Where is said Gif going? Can't you just resize it with teh HTML goodness on a page?

Isn't it a matter of unpacking the animation, resizing each constituent image and then re animating.
