How do I "reset" Win98 for a motherboard replacement?

I just got an 815e Motherboard and don't want to do a Win98 rebuild... what stuff should I pull out of the System config in Win98 so when I reboot I get the newest Motherboard settings...

FYI going from a BH6 to Solano board...

I've always had success with Greg's method, tho I'd suggest one very
important point. Always copy the Win9x directory from your Windows install CD to your HDD first. When U reboot with new MB installed
your system may ask 4 it *before* your CD-Rom drive is installed in DevMgr...

Yup, Red dawn was kind enough to pass me that information when I was first installing my P3v4X. Copy that whole damn windows cd to your hard drive, then if windows asks for a file, just browse to it!
A word of caution, when using the delete the "enum" sub directory method: when rebooting, and having the OS re-detect the hardware, the system will have to boot a bunch of times. When you finally go into device manager to take a peek, and see the happy yellow exclamation point on a piece of hardware( because it was installed twice) remove BOTH versions, otherwise you will get hung in a loop, and will continually delete, reboot, re-detect, delete, reboot( you get the idea).
