How do I reply to an archived thread?

You can't.

The two year old threads aren't archieved yet or at least when I bumped an extremely old one it wasn't.

Once it's been archived, it's not possible. The threads you have seen must have been periodically replied too to that they never made it into the archive.

It's hard to believe that thread was a year ago, it feels like it was only yesterday. Thats why I finally watched grave of the fireflies :/

It's in my Netlix queue. How was it?

Saddest damned movie I've ever fricken seen. I watched it at 11:30PM Sunday because I didn't want to go to bed yet and had remembered that it was good. I ended up finishing the movie at 1am but I couldn't fall asleep until 2am because my mind wouldn't stop racing after seeing it. Needless to say, the movie is STILL on my mind, so I figured I'd come post in the thread and thats when I realized that the thread was a year old (Woa freaky!).

It is one of those movies that was simply amazing, but that you don't know if you'd want to watch it again just because of all the emotions involved. On the other hand, I think it is good to rewatch it a second time, so that you fully understand the ending.

The drawback being that I watched it subbed. Which means you have to be able to read the words and imagine them being spoken while hearing another language. I've gotten really good at this and sometimes I have to double check if the movie was subbed or if it was in english the whole time. But some people hate this.
