I want to create a dual booting system. I already have windows 2000 installed, I want to add windows 98.

I understand this is the hard way of doing things (I should have installed 98 then 2000) but this is what I have to work with.

I have been told that I should install windows 98 and then repair the windows 2000 installation. But what I don't know how to do is just that, repair the windows 2000 installaion. What do I use to repair the windows 2000 installation?

Thanks!

IF you boot from CD, then repair is one of the first options you have.
Also make sure to have a restore disk.

Well maybe not practical but I tried restoring a win 2000 installation once and it COMPLETELY screwed it.

Lost all my settings etc. Not happy :(

I just tried booting off of the win2000 CD. The repair worked like a charm. No settings lost!
