My sisters son "fixed" her puter again. He typed in a password(on W98) so she can't open her computer. It wasn't thru bios though-that would be too easy to clear.I guess it was a screen saver password. How do I get rid of logon screen-paswords?

Pressing ESC usually bypasses it. If you really want to reset or get rid of the password totally, search for .PWL files in the windows directory and delete them (restart in ms-dos mode, delete them, then restart windows). Password protection on win98 systems is a joke to say the least. 🙂

In your network properties I beleive you choose "Windows Logon" as your default network. It's been a long time since I've used 98 though, been using NT for quite some time.
