How do i remove the heatsink and fan from my video card?

I tried to post this in the tech support section but got no responses.


My heatsink and fan are glued onto my video card. I want to replace them. How would I remove them? I know there is something like a freezer trick or something like that.

Yeah there is the freezer trick, place the card in the anti static bag it came in if you have it and place it in the fridge about 30 minutes, then try popping the HSF off with a putty knife or something else flat. Just make sure you take your time, and if your lucky it will pop right off.
