Put it in the freezer for a half hour, should pop right off after that.

A belt sander should do the trick. Ask at your local hardware store. :)

Seriously, if you meant to get the sink off then those guys have the idea. If you meant what you asked, how to get the GLUE off the SINK (you didn't ask how to get the sink off the chip) then a bit of find sandpaper may well be in order. Carefully scrape/chip off what you can with fingernails or other non metalic pieces, and yes the freezer trick helps here too, though I never found it necessary. Then sand off the rest. Do a search for "heatsink lapping" to get an idea of the best way to do it.

I got the glued heatsink off from my creative labs geforce2 GTS by twisting from side to side. Don't try wedging something like a knife or screwdriver or you could damage smoething. It took a little muscle, put it came off.

To get glue off, use Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, a clean cloth and elbow grease.

Carb and choke cleaner from your local auto parts store works great. Finish it up with some Isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue when your done. :)

Acetone works wonders. Get it at your local hardware store or the local pharmacy.

As for not wanting to damage your card, put a credit card under the spot you'll be leveraging pressure on.
