How do i remove something from the add/remove window?

In the control panel> add/remove program, i have a program that i already unninstalled, but because i did a system restore,the name of the program is still in my add/remove list.

How do i remove it?

On XP just try to remove it again if it's indeed already gone (system restore should have brought it back) XP will detect the entry is bad and offer to remove it. On other OS's you'll have to search the registry for the Uninstall section and remove the entry there.

Na xp doesnt remove it itself...grrrrr

 
you can always just open regedit and remove it from \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
