I'm Running Forceware 97.92 on my 6800 Go Ultra m170. Awhile back, using Powerstrip, I added some extra resolutions for various reasons. So that I could choose from many other possible resolutions.
Now the problem. I'm trying to run a game where I am unable to pick the res to run at in the game - I have to change it by editing the inf file. The problem is that the game has a limit to the number of possible resolutions, starting from the lowest counting upward. It reaches the max res it can read (1366x768 in this case) and no higher resolution is possible. My max screen res is 1920x1200, and that is what I would like to run at.
Is there a program that allows me to REMOVE these extra resolutions? I've tried powerstrip again & the NVidia control panel, but so far I can't find how to take these out of the inf. Could I edit the inf file by deleting those I don't want without screwing my system up? Also, for the life of me I don't remember what the NAME of the driver INF - could someone enlighten me?
Thanks for any help you may provide!
