How do I remove all remembered cookies from my computer?

I will be lending my computer to a friend and want to remove all the remembered passwords, log-ins, web sites and other user information that windows seems to remember. I think these all come under the one term of 'cookies'.

cookies are stored in c:\windows\cookies
or something like that, just delete all the files in that folder
dont forget to select "view all" under folder options

In IE go to tools and internet options. Choose security-->Internet Zone-->Custom Level-->Disable all Cookies

Thereafter, if there is a site for which you do want to have cookies enabled go into the Security tab again and add that site to "Trusted Zones"

Doing these things will allow you to control which sites are allowed to place cookies.
