Hey Everyone,
So my laptop kicked the bucket last week. I can't afford to fix it right now, so I got a $50 USB2 enclosure for the hard drive, which I must say works really well. Only problem I'm having, mostly with my personal files from the profile, is that I don't have the permissions to copy them! The laptop was running WinXP Pro on NTFS.
Is there any way, now that the hard drive is hooked up to a different WinXP Pro box, to reset the permissions so that I can bring them over? It'd take forever to do it one file at a time, but I need to get these over.
Any suggestions?
Thanx,
Jazzman
