ok, so i want to convert some video files (.avi) down to a lower resolution so i can play them on my pocket pc. as it is right now, i've got an ipaq 3955 with a 400mhz xscale and i've got a 1 gig SD card in it too. what i need to know is how do i go from an avi to whatever format windows media player 9 will play??
alternatively, are there any other good players to use instead of WMP? I would imagine that xvid would be the codec to use, and i'd probably want to go with a different player for it.
the thing is though, i don't have a clue how to do this, and before anyone starts giving me sh!t about it, i searched, and i also couldn't decide which board to post in; so seeing as how i want this for my trip tomorrow to wisconsin, OT is the place to get a quick answer.
