How do I recover the name/addy that was eneter windows XP installation screen?

I posted this in off-topic but im hoping ill get more help here

I need to recover an address off this dell laptop. When you buy a brand new system, and the first time the system starts up, you register windows. How can I go back and find who windows was registered to? I need the name/addy/phone number etc

can this be done through the registery?

Try going to Here and enter in the System Tag# on the back.
