You should be able to just launch AGENT (or any newsgroup reader) and get on. The server name is news. There is no username and password. They should have it set up to go to your default newserver within the state. Some are better than others and you can find lists on the net with other state's ips to access their machines. The groups aren't all that great. The retention generally is very short (sometimes less than a day) and there are usually a fair number of incompletes.
However, over the last couple months I think they've been doing better with incompletes. Seems like what little bit that makes it is at least coming through complete.
