Yes that is true, but what about the size of the file after it is converted to an avi. When a flash file is published to an .swf file. the size of the file is always a great deal smaller than any other video format available. If you understand the concept of vector graphics and how it works then you will understand why a .swf file is always smaller.

Say the .swf file is 35kb in size, during the conversion it will add another 350kb to the size of the file.
