How do I punctuate software titles and books in a cover letter?

I think a book title should be italicized, but what about the name of a software program?
 
underline book titles.

Software doesn't really need any special notation, but you could probably italicize it if you want it to stand out.


HOWEVER... if you are listing what software you know in your cover letter.. that's a bad idea.
