How do I play the sound through the headphone jack on the front of my cdrom drive?

I am trying to get the sound to play through the headphone jack on the front of my cdrom drive, like when I am playing games or listening to mp3's or divx. How do I get it to work, I can only use my headphones if I plug them into the line out on my sound blaster xgamer card.

The headphone jack on the front of a CDROM is for use of regular music disks only.

Hmmm, that stinks, I guess you I will have to add a jack to the front cover plate I am working on, it includes microphone jack, 2 switches, rca audion in, maybe video out, and now a headphone jack.
