I remember at one time i had a program that was basically a launcher for Doom that ran the games in 3d which looked a hell of a lot better than they used to. aside from accelerated graphics with higher resolution textures, it would run under win xp. the program i had was a launcher that would allow me to play the classic doom games under windows xp, all i had to do was install this program, copy the .wad files for the doom game(s) i wanted to play off the old 3.5" disks that i originally bought the games on, into the directory of the program i installed.
