thanks for the replys, i have an oem stereo and the panasonic looks pretty nice but i want something thank i can plug into. and i was hoping if there is a headunit with an input port.

IMO, Pioneer is making some of the best head units out there right now. If you are looking for a good, but inexpensive unit, check out the DEH-P4700. It's a great mid range head unit that will allow you to hook up something through an auxilary port, and has some great features as well. The internal amp is quite powerful, and Pioneer's SuperTunerIIID is pretty much the best tuner out there.

It's about $125-$150, and will outperform any of those $100 Best Buy type units...

Good luck!

But you gotta buy an extra $30 (CD-RB10) AUX input adapter...

Or he could just put his WMA/MP3's on a CD-R like the rest of us...😛

I'd still rather have a better head unit with a slightly less conveinent aux jack than a lesser one with a front port. It's been my experience that the only head units that have it on the front like that are the bottom of the barrel, sub $100 ones.

IMO.

thanks it seems you have to buy an adapter for the pioneer. Dang who knew i would miss my tape deck?

Why don't you just put some MP3's on a CD-R? 😕

He already has a Creative Micro MP3 player.

Like I said...front inputs on bottom of the barrel units...

I still don't understand why just because he has a portable MP3 player, he can't put them on CD-R's?

Well, good luck with that...

🙂

just get an fm tuner from walmart made by belkin, it's like $20. It works on stations 88.1 through 88.7 so as long as one of the stations aren't being used it will work. But if you have the $$ to spend I would go with a head unit with aux in instead.
