How do I play a VCD?

My Panasonic DVD player, which is about 2 years old, will not play it. How can I play it on my computer? Do I need a special program or software?

use media player. keep opening files until one plays

any dvd playing program will play it (well any consisting of windvd and powerdvd 😉).

The file is supposed to be something.dat. Just open it up in media player

on the vcd, goto the directoy mpegav. then open up the *.dat file with windows media player
