How do I place images?

the easiest way to post pictures here is to sign up for a free picture hosting site and just post links to them in your post.

lots of members here use pics.bbzzdd.com as it's run by current/former anandtech members. of course any free site will work

You can post links but you cannot use the [ img] tag as it is not enabled.

Just in case you guys ever do see a pic posted: Some of the senior mods have the ability to do it, but they rarely show it off.

I'm actually glad anandtech doesnt allow it because we've got a ton of members and bandwidth is often an issue here. If they started hosting pics this place would slow to a crawl.

They dont even allow custom avatars.

Admins can, Sr. Mods can't AFAIK.
