How do I password my Computer on a Home network?

Hi I've been trying to do this for a while now and haven't been successful in figuring it out. I want to put a password on my compiter on the home network so when someone wants to connect to my computer they'll need to type a password inorder to access my shared folders? Can someone refer me to a link or tell me how I could do this. TIA.

Windows Client OS' do not work with password but by permission.

Otherwise, If you just worried about certain files. You place the ?dear? files in specific folders. There is a lot of shareware that can secure encrypted whatever specific folders and files.

Google for terms like Folder Lock, Folder Guard etc.
