How do I paint my CD-ROM?

I spent the past two weekends doing a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" mod to my InWin q500. I'll link to some pics when I get my cold-cathode light installed. Anyway, I painted the case a mottled red and black, and now the CD-ROM and CD-RW look a little out of place up front.

I wanted to paint them as well. Are there any guides on the net for that kind of thing? I've done some looking but can't seem to find anything. Or do I just need to take a screwdriver to them and start popping off pieces?

I took the plastic off of mine. Fairly easy to do. My cd rom and cdr was very easy to do. The plates with the cd and cdr name to take off, with the tray's ejected out, I just lifted them up and they came right off.
