How do I paint front of CD-rom/floppy drive black?

I know the floppy drive I can remove it, but what about the cdrom drive? Is there a way I can spray paint it w/o damaging the inside? There seems to still be a little crevise where paint could sneak in and ruin the drive

Just take the face plate off

Oh, i didnt know you could take off the face of the cdroms like floppy drives! What about painting the tray? How can i do that?

Depending on the cd rom that should come off as well.

I wouldn't paint the tray. That is too risky for me and not worth it. I painted my floppy but left my dvd and burner the beige color since I might sell them eventually.

The tray can be painted, but I would not reccomend it!
