Hi, I'm a bit new to this, but maybe one of you guys can help...

I've got an AMD Sempron 2600+ connected to a 754 socket PC Chips K8 M871G motherboard with 512 DDR 333 RAM.

It only runs at 1.6ghz.. How do I get this to run faster ?

Hope you can help.

eek. I dunno if that motherboard can OC at all, but there should be a setting to increase either "FSB" or "HTT". This number should be a defualt of 200. You can try increasing it to like 220 or 240 to get a little bit of a boost, 240x8 would give you like 1.92Ghz...

I agree with Leper up there. PC Chips boards are not exactly known for being OC powerhouses. Plus, with that memory, you're going to have to be very careful not to overclock the RAM, so you will need to use dividers. In fact, you're probably already using one. That will limit your overclock to a certain extent.

Can that board OC at all? Naming makes me thing SiS or something.

Your setup does not bode well for performance.
