I only got a 200 point increase with the newest drivers and I also lost my overclocking utility when I installed the newest nvidia drivers. Does anyone know how I can get the original or a 3rd party overclocking utility in my control panel? Is it hidden somewhere? Any help would be great. Thanks

GO TO THE REGISTRY....

GO TO NVTWEAK AND DWORD: COOLBITS
THEN CHANGE THE VALUE TO 3
REBOOT

OR DOWNLOAD THE REGISTRY HACK UNDER THE MONITORING THREAD ON TOP...

SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS...TOO LAZY TO CHANGE IT ALL...DIDN'T REALIZE IT UNTIL THIS LINE...:)

Hi,

as you haven't mentioned which OS and revision of Nvidia Detonators you are using please check out the following page where you can download coolbits for 40.xx versions and the other one for the other driver releases (30.82 and below).

Sorry, forgot to add that after you download and install the coolbits (which are in fact a registry entry), whether via dubble-click or right click and Merge you will have a new selection in the driver settings, but not as additional tool in Control Panel.
