Use the hardware-level overclocking in RivaTuner. The average for those cards is about 300MHz for the core and roughly 550MHz for memory. Take it up 10MHz at a time and test with a recent game and if possible a looping demo that really stresses 'er like the UT2003 demo. Look closely for artifacts such as missing polys and flashing miscolored textures. It's possible for the overclock to run stable but the artifacts mean that there could be damage being done to the card. Good luck.
