ok, so i have a duron 600 with the golden bridges cut.

I also have an asus av7. There are dip switches for both the dsw and another set of switches, which I am not sure what they are positioned right next to the DSW dip switches.

And of course the voltage regulator output settings are present as well on the other side of the board.

I understand that I need to draw in the connections of the cut golden bridges, but then what do I do with the settings for overclocking?

do I go jumperfree and set them within the bios?

I have no experience with the setup that is in the bios for the a7v, please advise!

If you connect the golden bridges, all you have to do is adjust the multiplier and voltage. The voltage is adjusted in the BIOS, and the multiplier is controlled by the set of 6 DIP switches that were previously not documented. However, if you check the Asus web sire, you can find an updated manual that can tell you what settings to use. Another resource that you can check out is Tom's HowTo guide to OCing an A7V on www.tomshardware.com.

pretty much, set the ah heck to jumper mode, set the voltage to 1.85v, make sure you got an aftermarket heatsink/cooler, set the jumpers for the multiplier rate.

go for 1000, then 950, then 900.
at 1.85V you should get 950 if the chip is worth anything.
