How do I open new windows in Mozilla NOT maximized?

As stated above, although many people think its a good feature, i hated it. Often I like to click mutilple links from a single page, but every time I click open link in a new window, it will open a new window maximized in the foreground, which sucks because I have to switch back to the original page in the taskbar if I want to open more links from that page.

If the new opened window is only a small portion of the current window, then I can easily click other links in the original window without switching back and forth between windows in the taskbar.

AFIAK it will always open the same size as the window that the link was clicked in. ...Why don't you just use tabs so its easier to switch windows?

First, use Tabs!

If you need New Windows though, get the Multizilla add-on. In it is an option to only have the first window maximized.
