I've just set up a Linksys BEFSR41 ver.2 to share my cable modem connection and give me firewall protection. How do I open a specific port in the firewall (like for a game)?

Thanks!

In the manual it says that to use IP Forwarding, you must disable DHCP and put in a static IP address, but I don't have a static IP address. Can I still use this?

Yes. My linksys router runs DHCP yet I run a SetiQ server on my computer. Link

Yeah, I think that's BS about having to use a static IP. Of course, if you start rebooting your machines your IP addy might change and thus screw things up a tad until you reset the forward to the new IP.
