I'm going to get a new comp.
But I want to know what I have to do to o/c a Duron first.
Can someone explain to me how I would do that?
I have to do something to the chip right?

Most good motherboards allow FSB changing so you can do that, or if you unlock your Duron you can change the multiplier on it.

Get an KT7A RAID...the board has great overcloaking possibilities....my Duron 700 flyes @ 950 (with full stability)....and it ene works fine (for like 2/3 hours) on 1Ghz.....Abit r0x!!!

A cheap (and great) way of doing this is by buying an unlocked pre-tested Duron at about 1GHz for about $45. Then get an Abit KT7E motherboard for about $90. This motherboard has all of the bells and whistles to overclock as you desire. Remember to get a high performance heat sink.

Make sure you get a kt7a or an A7V133 because you want the official 133MHz fsb support.
