How do I move...

How can I move the location of the program folder that windows installs i.e., c:\program files to d:\program files. Windows only recognizes one location, right?

fresh install of windows and want to keep operating system in partition by itself and apps and data in different partions.

Believe it is done with registery hack..

I'm not sure, but I believe this is dependent on the install program and not winbloze.

I have new progams that still want to install the the C:\ by default and not program file. So this leads me to believe that the install dir is dictated by the install program and not by windoze.
