How do I mount my Panasonic 42" plasma?

So I was given a brand new Panasonic 42PDW8UK 42" EDTV Plasma Display today at no cost.

Now this is the commercial pro line of Panny Tvs. It has BCN connectors, and no tuner card but who cares as I have hd cable and surround.

Now the question is. What mount would you get to hand this? Is there any local stores that sell a stand etc?? I wanted the fastest solution and was torn between stand and wall mount. I mean is it really tough to put the mount up with little room for error? Dont want it to fall

Also what adapters do you recommend so than i can hook my xbox 360 componant up to the BCN componant ins on this tv

well, you unzip your pants, you put your arms around the screen, and...

THAT'S the same thing I was thinking when I read he thread... I bet cleaning off the screen would be a B*+ch, though! 😉

If you're wall-mounting, go to Home Depot and buy a studfinder (~$20). See how far apart the studs are in your house before you buy a wall mount.

I know a guy who just bought a condo and the studs are 24 inches on center. His wall mount won't work with studs that far apart, so he only has it lagged to one stud, with drywall anchors holding it in place elsewhere. If you ask me, that's not enough support. You don't want to come home to find your expensive (but free) plasma TV face down on the floor.
