I have a laptop and a desktop both connected to a wireless router. When I check email in Outlook on the laptop the messages I receive stay on the laptop and vice versa. How can I merge the emails on the desktop and laptop so they both have the same messages no matter which machine I use to connect to my incoming mail server?

Set outlook to leave a copy of the email message on the server, on you laptop version of outlook. THen u can read them, but when u go to your desktop to download emails, it will also be downloaded. THis is how i deal with my email on my laptop and desktop.

Thanks!

If I check my desktop before my laptop, will I also have access to those messages on my laptop as well by doing this?

Unfortunatly.......No
But what you could do is set both computers to leave a copy on the mail server. Then make sure u delete them from the server once u have read them. Or if u have unlimited space on the mail server it shoudn't be a problem.
