how do i make windowsxp keep my user settings instead of changing one account than changing both?

like i change my reso to a certain reso, than i change my gf's reso to a certain reso, and both of ours change. is there any way so that both of ours stay different? she likes hers big, i like mine small.

please help.
 
Shouldn't this be in the Operating Systems forum? But I think there's a setting in profiles where you can tell it to keep all the settings independent of each other for each profile.
