I tried searching and only found ways to disable thumbnails, or view existing ones.
I actually like thumbnails, but I hate how conservative windows is in creating them.
If I have a folder open and 24 out of 1000 pictures are visible, it will create thumbnails for those visible, then stop until I scroll down to make more pictures visible.
If I have a folder on list view and put an image in it, it will not create thumbnails until I switch to a larger view.
etc... basically windows insists on generating thumbnails on the spot, and that is a real huge bother. Any way to make it generate thumbnails for all files on my computer in the background? or at least be more aggressive on generating thumbnails in the folders I am viewing?
