Control panel>user accounts>remove all passwords for every accounts. (admin shouldnt show up so only do it in reg. mode.)

I believe there's a group policy for this, but I don't have a machine with which to verify that at the moment.

Try to create a password for the account than reboot, logon and delete the password and make sure that there is only 1 account and if anymore make sure theres no passwords on any becept the main admin account.

To remove a password, you have to "change" the password to simply a blank.

The default behavior of XP is to boot to the main account (not Administrator) unless there are multiple accounts. I don't recall if it will continue logging into one account just because all the passwords are blank. There is also a group policy for it, or TweakUI from the PowerToys set will allow you to specify one account to log in with.

run 'userpasswords2' to open the user accounts tool. On the Users tab, clear the box for 'Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer'. An Automatically Log On dialog box will appear; enter the user name and password for the account you want.

The correct command is to go to Start -> Run and type control userpasswords2

Or use TweakUI as linked by gdtaylor.
