How do i make the W10 startmenu wider ?

I cannot see the full text of the programs that i have installed. It would be nice if i could make the startmenu wider.

Anybody know how ?

Setting/Personalization/Start

Then you can click on the Border of the Start menu and stretch up and down and to the left.

It does not work for me. It makes the startmenu wider for tiles and apps. But not for the programs menu.
I can make the startmenu taller but not wider.

I tried it with both build 1511 and the redstone W10 version.

The size is also in part depending on t6he screen resolution, try to play with it and see what happened.

Usually higher resolution provides wider space.

I run W10 at 1920 x 1080 at home and at work, i run W10 at 1920 x 1200.
I kind of assumed that would be sufficient. :|

Not OP. "Enhanced Mitigation Exerien..." doesn't gain or lose additional letters going from 1366x768 to 800x600 on my laptop, revealing that All Apps is fixed width.
