Boil the water, pour in the pasta. Cook until they taste good and are soft.

Actually you can do a lot of stuff with pasta. The typical way to do things is throw a lot of salt in the water, bring to a boil and cook for 10-12 mins. while it's easy.. it takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master... much like Othello the game.

Aww, give the guy a break. After my grandma died, my grandpa called my mom and asked how long he should boil a hardboiled egg for. Everybody learns how to cook (even the most basic stuff) at different times.
