We need some info man..

OS for both machines?
How they're connected?

You should be able to use UNC paths like Goosemaster said to connect to the other host and access a shared medium. If it's a lot of stuff from all over you should just mount the drive (have to set permissions for this) and copy it that way.

I have windows media center on the new PC. windows xp home on the old pc

they are connected using a router.

The method Goosemaster and I described should work fine. If it's a lot of data it might be quicker to just put the drive in the other computer and copy it over IDE or whatever.

I have 3 pc's on my home network and when i try to browse to them in my network i cant see them so using the UNC path works and i use that. but i have been wondering why they dont show up, i have made them part of "home" workgroup...

make sure the work group name is the same.

also, set the folder to share.

I did all this but its not showing up..

is it because one is media center edition and the other one is simply xp home?
