how do i make it so that i can have my plextor 40x scsi boot and install winxx

i want to have my plextor 40x install my os's, but i dont know how. i have a tekram dc-315 scsi card. if anyone has any explination on how to make it so that i can boot my scsi drive and make it install my os's.

go into the controller's bios and turn on boot with cdrom for that device..or something like that. basically it's in the bios for that controller

when you boot the computer, you should see a a message telling you the key combination to get to the scsi bios..

I don't think you can boot from the dc-315, it has no scsi bios.

A friend made me a custom boot floppy for Tekram card (I have DC390-U2W & Plextor reader/burner). It works, and I'd be glad to zip it up & send to you, but like CC says, I think u need a card w/ a bios to be able to boot from a device on the card. Can anyone confirm/deny?

just copy the whole winME cd onto your hard disk

then install it from there
