K, my Art history teacher has us on a different assignment nao, he wants us to make paintings from the post impressionist era. My painting will feature some brown in it, does anyone know how to make brown paint?

In my paint kit I have green, white, red, black, yelllow, blue...but no brown.

Any ideas?

lol, I remember back in art class days, the water bucket (the one you clean your brush in) is always brown.

orange, then black into it, and maybe add shades of random colors. Anubis' link is better though, but it does mention orange as a method.

If you look at the color wheel as suggested, you can see that red and green make brown for pigment.
