How do I make Amazon AWS work with Joker.com (or any other registrar)?

I don't want Amazon's 53 service.

I have my email working fine, if I point my HOSTS file to my site it works.

I set up a A record on Joker.com and it's not working.

My MX record is good.

HALP!
